This beach, 17 Km to the north of Puerto Madryn, is famous because it is the best place on the coast to see whales (June – October).

The whales characteristically swim close to the shore and can be seen and heard from the beach or the near cliffs.

An information center has been built here by the Natural Patagonia Fund, and you´ll find information about the whales and their habits.
